$1 Million to Dog Shelters Lucky One Lemonade
Lucky One Lemonade, launched by Dave Portnoy and his dog Miss Peaches, is a vodka-based beverage partnering with organizations like LifeLine Animal Project and Best Friends Animal Society to support pet rescues. Through the "Our Pack Gives Back" initiative, it aims to donate $1 million to shelters, focusing on rescuing dogs, supporting transportation, and facilitating adoptions.
Monetary and Material Support Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards
The Hazlitt family and crew love animals! You will usually find a cat or dog roaming the winery grounds when you come to visit. So, it’s no surprise that one of the organizations that has always been near and dear to our hearts is the Humane Society of Schuyler County. Each year the winery collects “Wish List” donations for the shelter and shelter staff, offers products for sale in the winery which directly benefit the HSSC, and makes annual donations to help with the shelter’s expenses.

In 2017 we started Bee’s Knees Week, a weeklong, nationwide celebration of one of our favorite classic cocktails, the Bee’s Knees, to support and raise awareness for the importance of pollinators. Bees Knees Week raises funds to create and protect wild foraging space for bees and other pollinators. Through the years we’ve been able to create over one million sq/ft of new pollinator habitat which supports a diversity of species!

Barefoot Wine has a long-standing commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, partnering with organizations since 1988. For Pride Month, they often release limited-edition Barefoot Bubbly Pride bottles, featuring rainbow and Progress Pride flag designs.
